I’m Lucie, owner and operator of Autonomy Body Arts, a private studio located in the heart of downtown Asheville, North Carolina.
Through Tattoo, Piercing and Body modification I have created a new sense of self and I hope to provide that to you as well.

I believe in a holistic approach to body art, that is, treating the body as a whole with no parts being different than one another. If I can safely provide service, regardless of anatomy, placement, social conventions etc. I will do it to the best of my abilities.
Worldwide body modification exists in various forms as both bodily adornment and right of passage. Without assigning any specific belief to my practice, I do hold these practices sacred. It’s an honor and a privilege to be entrusted with handling a body, and I don’t take that for granted.
